Born in Hong Kong, raised in New Zealand, now living in New York City. Venus has spent her entire life involved in the Arts. She has a background in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Art History. She moved to New York in 2015 to persuade a career in photography. Her career began in advertising at a digital agency called “The 88” where she was a Senior Photographer. She now currently works at The New York Times as a Staff Artist in the Art Production / Newsroom Department.
Venus is also a freelance Photographer and Art Director where she consults with brands and companies to implement a strategy to help optimize their social media presence through effective ways of visual story-telling through her photography.
Prior to her move to New York, she’s lived in Los Angeles where she worked as a make up artist at MAC Cosmetics and an event photographer for Guest Of A Guest, LA magazine and Partyofwolves.
